That's where I can help. As a mum, I know the sorts of features I look for when choosing my own family holiday accommodation in Queensland. So I've done the research to find a range of properties with amenities that appeal to families.

Visit: A must is a trip out to the reef, with a variety options suiting all ages (consider Low Isles if your have younger children). Also check out Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, Cape Tribulation, Kuranda Train and Skyrail and Paronella Park for just a taste of what is on offer.

Tours: Check out some of the great family friendly tours on offer in Cairns and Port Douglas, including a range of reef trips and great land-based options too.
