Visit: If you are after a laid-back seaside family holiday, check out Agnes Waters & 1770 (named after James Cook and his crew from the "Endeavour' who came ashore on 24 May 1770). It is now the only coastal departure point for many reef trip operators and fishing charters to the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
